Preparing data for Talon® involves gaining a thorough understanding of our client's objectives and raw data in order to create a repeatable data transformation procedure for converting the data into a Talon compatible format.
Depending on client objective(s), the Talon data may be prepared at the policy, policy change, coverage, or risk (e.g., property or vehicle) level. The level at which data is prepared will drive the need to derive new data elements.
Additionally, third party data may be joined to client data to provide additional risk assessment data, for example, average annual snowfall by zip code.
Our Data Services Team consists of professionals that, on average, have over 15 years of experience in the Property & Casualty technology industry working directly for carriers and/or technology providers. Their deep knowledge of the data structures inherent in Property & Casualty administrative and claims systems allows our team to speak the language of their counterparts inside carriers.
